We created this incredible retreat experience just for you, because we care about your well-being and we believe you deserve this chance to be nurtured and loved.
In our over 40 years combined direct patient care experience serving thousands of patients and families in our communities, we know what it’s like to love our profession but feel the joy for practicing medicine dwindle over the years as the ever-changing healthcare landscape makes us feel all the more isolated, overworked, undervalued, unappreciated, and like just another cog-in-the wheel. We created Pink Coat, MD to help all women physicians rekindle their joy, purpose, and inner peace as healers.

Jeanne Marie is a non-profit and public sector organization leader and serves as a coach, expert speaker and retreat leader. She writes and leads retreats, focused on rewilding, where participants reconnect and align with the wild Spirit within and around us. This helps bring harmony to our relationship with ourselves, one another, the earth, and supports planetary rewilding, ecological conservation, and healthy people, businesses, and communities. She writes for the Rewilding Institute, serves on the Steering Committee of Quaker Earthcare Witness, and is an Arizona leader for Friends Committee on National Legislation.

This retreat provided an intimate opportunity to dive deep into the innate power "women gathered together" sharing their common humanity amongst the redwood trees. So much magic happened over the course of a few days. Deep friendships emerged and wisdom unfolded. I look forward to carrying these gifts with me over the course of the next months and year ahead.
Absolutely! We offer up to 10 AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits for participation in this retreat. Reimbursement subject to the policies of your organization or institution.
Do I need to know how meditate to join this retreat?
Absolutely not! This retreat is open to all experience and comfort levels with meditation. Many past participants have had prior experience with yoga, meditation and Mindful Self Compassion, but most of our participants are first timers or have little prior experience. This retreat is for all experience levels!
What is included in the cost of registration?
All retreat programming and meals are included in the cost of registration.
What is not included in the cost of registration?
Lodging, Air travel, transportation, and any additional private services or additional nights you wish to enjoy. You will need to make your own lodging and spa reservations at Alderbrook Resort and Spa.
This is quite an expensive investment. How does your Pink Coat Retreat compare to other physician CME retreats?
We have made it our priority to provide the highest, exceptional quality experience for our participants, at the most competitive price possible. Other CME retreats cost at least $5K and do not include the cost of lodging or meals.
What is your cancellation policy?
We will honor a 100% refund until August 1. We will honor a 50% refund until September 1.
What is the best airport to fly into?
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is 75 miles north of Union, WA (1 hour 90 minutes). Transportation can be arranged via shared ride, Uber/Lyft, taxi, rental car or private vehicle.
What if I'm local? Is there free parking at the property?
Yes! There is complimentary parking for guests on the property.
Can I arrive before or stay past retreat dates at Alderbrook Resort and Spa?
Yes! You are welcome to reserve additional nights and can do so when making your lodging reservation with Alderbrook Resort.
